The worst is not pain, it is abject fatigue so complete that sleep isn't an option but a necessity.

A funny thing can sometimes happen when I'm feeling very sick...

I'll take "a nap" which usually ends up to be a sleep of 5-8 hours and I'll awaken from the nap remembering a long and complicated dream which usually will end up being very instructional and effective.

Then, with the strength given me by the renewal of the dream, I can then start to deal with the illness.
