Way to go Joe ! Constitutional rights for anyone but our own citizens. Mirandize an enemy combatant panty bomber from another country without a passport but for citizens, bah !
More from the cited article :
... Mr Biden added, "While we fully respect the independence and the integrity of the US judicial system, we were disappointed with the judge's decision to dismiss the indictment, which was based on the way some evidence had been acquired."
The US rejected attempts for a trial in Iraq but charges in the US were thrown out when a judge ruled in December that the guards' constitutional rights had been violated and that the justice department had mishandled evidence.
I sure hope nothing goes wrong overseas that might make Biden a war criminal. I sure would hate to turn him over to the world or UN or The Hague or whoever would be the authorities for a proper trial.

romeotuma wrote:Supreme Court Rolls Back Campaign Finance RestrictionsBy a 5-4 decision, the Supreme Court on Thursday rolled back restrictions on corporate spending on federal campaigns. The decision could unleash a torrent of corporate-funded attack ads in upcoming campaigns. "With its ruling today, the Supreme Court has given a green light to a new stampede of special interest money in our politics," said President Obama in a statement. "It is a major victory for big oil, Wall Street banks, health insurance companies and the other powerful interests that marshal their power every day in Washington to drown out the voices of everyday Americans... That's why I am instructing my Administration to get to work immediately with Congress on this issue. We are going to talk with bipartisan Congressional leaders to develop a forceful response to this decision." Kennedy, Roberts, Scalia, Alito, Thomas in favor Stevens, Ginsburg, Breyer, Sotomayor dissenting.
Here's the background
Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission558 U.S. ___ (2010) is a decision by the United States Supreme Court regarding whether a politically charged film could be defined as a campaign ad under the Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act, commonly known as the McCain-Feingold Act. The decision reached the Supreme Court on appeal from a 2008 decision by the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, which sided with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) that Hillary: The Movie could not be shown on television right before the 2008 Democratic primaries under the McCain-Feingold Act. Legal scholar Erwin Chemerinsky called it “one of the most important First Amendment cases in years.” The Court's decision struck down a provision of the McCain-Feingold Act that prevented corporations and unions from spending freely from their own treasuries in the final days of political campaigns, and overruled two previous cases, Austin v. Michigan Chamber of Commerce (1990) and McConnell v. FEC (2002), which had been decided by the Rehnquist Court.

If you've got any tips on touring in those cities— whether it's local bands to play with, house/club venues or anything else— please send the info to madelinesongs@hotmail.com. Yes, she's booked several tours in the past. Yes, she knows a good amount of what to do. But it never hurts to reach out and ask questions, though, does it? Nope.

Ouch, glad you got through that.
But, the Motrin caution... there is anecdotal evidence that Motrin contributes to having a stroke.
It may just be another one of those "anything will kill you" cautions... but when a friend had a stroke out of the blue, a little researched showed some frequency of stroke in persons who take regular strong doses of Motrin.

But it was the only thing that kept me standing and walking. Don't ever want to go through that again. Some of my chemo was a walk in the park compared to that.
I get psychedelic color effects from Motrin. Blueish mostly.
