I guess I'll never have that problem. Ceili is an indoor, who steps outside for fresh air on occasion and never tries to bolt. I love it.

She will have a deck at our new dwelling, but I won't introduce it to her until she's good and used to the place...and to the other cat who lives there. Ceili's never had a "big sister" before. My new housemate and I are hoping it works out, since they're both old girls who probably will just keep their boundaries and avoid each other.

Yeah, what's up with that? I know several people's cats that do that. Ceili has been known to sort of curl around the top of my head on colder nights. Not very often, though.

That is the same thing Eddie used to do before he disowned me (still haven't figured out what that was about). Now I am stuck with Tabby and she prefers to sleep on my head, no not near my head, on my head. {#Rolleyes}
