and i'm not sure they will be friends at all, but she's not completely intimidated by him. just unsure. i think murray's a bit scared. but more, just put out. as expected.

Hey Lily, Kuka just came and sat next to Clink and started grooming her. All Kuka did for the first couple months was beat up on Clink. If Kuka can do it I bet Murray & Jezebel will be buddies in no time.

yeah, murray is sticking close to me. she's hiding/sleeping and has been most of the day, but i've visited her and let her just do her thing. he was looking for her for a while, but isn't anymore. just won't leave my side. so he's been getting lots of love today.

i'm glad to hear the tales of things taking some time. i have a feeling this will take a lot of time. he's not a happy boy right now.

i just keep thinking she's so much better off now than where she was before...lost in the shuffle of 2 huge dogs, and 4 other male cats who were all higher on the totem pole than she. poor thing got no attention.

i do remember i had two cats that were sisters and were fine with each other until i moved 4 hours away and then they hated each other for some unknown reason as soon as we got to the new place. strange. but they ended up tolerating each other for years. so, maybe this will be like that.

skate - no pics yet. maybe sometime this week when she's less hidey i'll snap a shot of her to post. there's a pic somewhere that i posted of her when she was a kitten that i got from the friend who had her. very pretty girl.

closet snugglers? sounds like they could use a therapist.

it sounds like they're doing really well. is there a pic of the new baby posted somewhere.

Lily! Don't fret! It took Manor some time to deal with splattyface. And even now he only snuggles with her in the closet, where we can't see. Make sure that he still knows that he's the king.

About a year ago when I took in a stray male cat, Billy, my cat Lizzie was not happy at all. I think she hissed every time she saw him. Day-by-day she got used to him. Now she only hisses at him a couple times a day when he aggravates her (he has a knack for that). She basically tolerates him. He, on the other hand, would like to be friends, but he's a little too rowdy and she doesn't quite trust him.

Overall, I find it fun to have 2 cats. Watching them interact is free entertainment.
