A Decemberists song that doesn't send me scrambling for the PSD button, something odd in the universe.

Actually reminds me of old REM.

I guess if its about playing good all the time under the most crazy circumstances my all time favorite band in this regard would be the Allman Bros. I've seen them live more than any other band over plus 40 years. 3 times with the original lineup and all the incarnations along the way. The biggest treat was when Betts was out of the band for the first time. The GAB and the DBB played at a little bar in Kent, Ohio. I can't remember who opened but they each played an hour set and them came back and everyone played for an hour. Pure sweetness leaning against a bar with a real bottle in my hand and enjoying something special.

They always bring it. Rain or shine, after a near bust traveling to a gig. They don't need any help to be good hardly ever. I guess that it sure helps that I love their music, too.

OBTW the song still has about 10 minutes to go yet.

Listening to Nantucket Sleigh Ride off the Twin Peaks Album right now.

When bg played Hurdy Gurdy Man earlier tonight it made me want to keep going in that direction and I ended up on a Mountain. {#Mrgreen}

That's kinda what I meant.Sometimes Leslie was great,but if you can't be great all the time,well it isn't for me.

I don't do it for a living because I know everyone has off nights and I don't want to rip people off if I'm not on my game.I have put my work in though(as I'm sure you know after helping me on that raw song)

edit-well not balls per se,I just prefer to listen to people who put the time and effort into learning their craft.
