$1.39.9/gal.

A local supermarket also owns gas stations and they give "fuelperk" discounts for spending $ at the grocery store: 10 cents off for every $50 spent. So I buy $50 gift cards and get the dime off, then spend the gift card on groceries to get another dime off. Plus I buy the things they want me to buy and get 3-5 cents for each product (like a nickle off for each Tombstone pizza purchased). I also take two 5 gallon cans and fill them up with my tank (30 gal. max) then top off the car's tank with that. I spend about $80 a month on gas that way.

This will be the last price everyone pays for oil.

What an irony that plays out, potentially engulfing every
fiber of reason in the flames of nucular immolation,
while the possession of the proceeds
of oil revenue is locked in the bank accounts of
of the perpetuators of energy dependence.

I think that at 9/tenths's it rolls over to 1 gal, ending that $2.(whatever)price.It then begins the process of "starting" the count (at $2. whatever@ 1/10th)for the next gallon and so forth.

The price has been lowered about 1.5 ct (per liter) over here.
Apparently this was the 3rd time this week that the price was lowered.

It's not turbo charged it's super charged, big difference.

I've run premium since 1992 when I bought my first new car. When you opened the fuel door it said "Don't use anything under 94 Octane". The higher the octane the more combustible the gas, which means that you don't get all kinds of shit deposits in your engine because it burns more completely. Car also runs better, engine lasts longer and you don't get spark knock.
Anyway, try finding 94 octane today... Highest I ever see is 92. So basically we're not only getting the gas price shoved straight up our collective keesters, we're also not getting as good a product as we were 15 years ago.

sahhhhreee... It's freaking soooopah charged.

That's because he puts premium in his turbo-charged vehicle. On Wednesday, I put regular in my 5-speed Hyundai at the 76 carwash for $3.095/gallon. Filled up my dead empty tank, got the car detailed and bought lunch, plus a magazine, for $58 plus tip.

You just gotta know where to go.
