All the white clumps outside the square are piles of clothes, ideally out of the frame of the photo

I signed up as a volunteer a year or two ago. No call yet, but I found out a couple of months ago that a woman I know was actually in one of those!

I can't get over how all those people get to these very public places, all nude.

You can never see any of their clothes, anywhere.

Do they just hop on the bike in the buff and toodle down to the picture taking site???

How do they all know where and when to meet?

Do they have a "clothes check" like they have a "gear check" at a marathon?

The pictures are pretty cool, but I'm really impressed with the coordination required to get all these naked people together in one spot, at one time.

Sometimes, that's his point.

See if you can find the documentary, it really explains his thinking a bit... it's quite intriguing, and makes the art MUCH more meaningful to me.

Meh. As much as I admire his ability to motivate people to participate in his art and do things that are normally social proscribed (like appearing naked in public) I'm less than thrilled with the art itself. The poses are usually so stilted and lifeless that they end up looking like masses of corpses. And other than the audacity of sheer scale, what's the point?
