Nah. Folks were trying to keep the peace. When the troll grabs our attention then we must not engage. folks were just avoiding escalation ya know? kinda tired of it here on the RP.

Dave, you're cool. You're always cool. You're one of the most consistently reasonable people here. I'm not sure what you're referring to - I was around for part of it but didn't see it all and don't care to revisit. I hope you reconsider, as you have many friends here and we all get sideways from time to time, if you even did. Take a deep breath, put on some good vinal, and shake it off. I don't what to have to go through months of that "where's Dave?" stuff again. ;)

You weren't attacked and nobody's pissed at you. I did imply that I thought Kurtster's post deserved the same treatment as Erik's. Other people wished, very obliquely and not referring to you specifically, that we could avoid bringing politics into it so soon, or doing anything to prolong the brief incursions of politics into a thread that was being used as a clearinghouse of information. So, yeah, you added to the noise for a minute. Big deal.

Thank you! I had to stop and walk a lot in the last 3 miles because my inguinal ligament in my leg started hurting....so I thought my time was going to be lousy. I wondered why I never saw the 2:30 pace team. They were always behind me!
