I said after Sid was gone I'd never get another one....but I'm glad I talked myself in to getting Boss. He'll help me. I couldn't ever imagine not having a dog in my life.

I had Tessy (the cat) for 16 years. After I got divorced she was my sole companion. When she started to get sick my family
really wanted me to get another cat to help with the grief when Tessy eventually died, They were really worried about me. I didn't
get another pet and after I had to take Tess to the vet for the final time I didn't take care of myself physically or emotionally.
I ended up being institutionalized for a pretty bad breakdown. So take good care of yourself and don't try to avoid grieving.
It just ends up hurting more in the long run.

I just got tickled at this status I just read:

Finally got my passport and my lovely lady Liz , has asked me if I wanna go to Holland or Brazil for a week while she is on a business trip? Which should I choose ? Brazil hotel on the beach but its winter down there right now and Holland hmmm ? Which one ?
