Oh!! I used your idea of wooden coffee sticks. I got a box of 1000 for $2 at WB Mason. You really have to be able to write really small.

Time to be hitting Starbuck's. The stirrers don't last long (the water in the soil breaks them down fast) and the writing will run. Use ball point. And yes, tiny fingers too if you have them.

for $2 for a box of 1000, I am saving money by not going to Starbucks. it should last about 7 years.

I have little hands and can write really tiny.
I am using an ultra sharp Sharpie. Ballpoint didn't seem to work well. maybe I need a finer point.

Maters? How do you separate them? Do you thin them out, or try to save as many as you can?

Cool though.

Aquaponic greenhouse coming along nicely!  We have 2 functioning hydro plots and have run the rain gutter into the water storage urn to be used for watering the ground plots. Also my wife very creatively used a gutter mounted for spinach!

do they address the alkaline and salt nature of cremation ashes? a tree isn't going to sprout in that.

This is something Lugh never realized. He made it extremely difficult/dangerous to walk if it was anywhere near feeding time and we were anywhere near the food.
