I do think principle. That is why, if my kids were young now, they would be home schooled.
But the GOP wants vouchers for schools, which means that those who can afford to pay will go to better schools, leaving the others to lag behind, therefore creating more underserved, desperate young people.
You believe everything should be private; while I don't believe everything should be public, I believe that everyone should have the same educational opportunities.
It's not that I am against government, it's just not done right. It's all about politics, everything is about politics. You have some idea that humans should be something that they are not.

I respectfully disagree with some of what you say. You might know that I work as a dentist in a prison and most/ all of the healthcare people are there to serve and make about half of what one would make in private practice.
