Like I asked in another place, did anyone else besides me notice the initials DEA on the back of the navy blue jackets being worn by the various alphabet agencies present at the the neighborhood in Boston where the guy was found in the boat ?  The neighborhood where they went door to door with combat armed officials looking for him ?  Just why was the DEA there ?  Practice ? Or were they the most expert in kicking down civilian doors ?

Just more immoral, conscious lacking members of the Bush-Obama jackbooted, streroided ,methed out private army.

You know you're old when you can remember honest, decent cops.

I live in Maryland. The State government and the Baltimore government are the ones who control the drug trade. This guy is a bogus propagandist who created a great TV show that was designed to sway the public from the truth of who is behind it.He is as guilty as any drug dealer for his lies.
Look at his eyes and tell me he isn't lying.

That was the prototype. Why would a corrupt government change a successful strategy once they proved it worked?
It's not in the coffins anymore. They've evolved and move it in the overhead compartments the Customs officials get their cut from to overlook.

 More bulk that way.

War for drugs=success for our Government.WTF does anyone think we're in Afghanistan for anyway?

Cause they screwed up when they passed NAFTA and then found out they could only get crappy pot and black tar heroin once the Colombian coke connection broke down.

So they went to where the good stuff was.

"/Drug use/ does harm a great many other people, but primarily because it's prohibited. There are an enormous number of innocent victims now. You've got the people whose purses are stolen, who are bashed over the head by people trying to get enough money for their next fix. You've got the people killed in the random drug wars. You've got the corruption of the legal establishment. You've got the innocent victims who are taxpayers who have to pay for more and more prisons, and more and more prisoners, and more and more police. You've got the rest of us who don't get decent law enforcement because all the law enforcement officials are busy trying to do the impossible. And, last, but not least, you've got the people of Colombia and Peru and so on. What business do we have destroying and leading to the killing of thousands of people in Colombia because we cannot enforce our own laws? If we could enforce our laws against drugs, there would be no market for these drugs." ~ Milton Friedman

politicizing anything, especially education, is disastrous

this happens with any (forced) monopoly, be it prisons or schools (politicians using ill defined language or labels is misleading, esp for those viewing through political framework)

I do think principle. That is why, if my kids were young now, they would be home schooled.

But the GOP wants vouchers for schools, which means that those who can afford to pay will go to better schools, leaving the others to lag behind, therefore creating more underserved, desperate young people.

You believe everything should be private; while I don't believe everything should be public, I believe that everyone should have the same educational opportunities.

It's not that I am against government, it's just not done right. It's all about politics, everything is about politics. You have some idea that humans should be something that they are not.
