I caught it because I was logging into our Discover account to see when the billing period ended, and I was locked out. We usually get a phone call or something (not that this has happened before, but some big purchases we've made have raised the flag).

We used the card at the tire place and at Home Depot, but it never left hobbitt's hand.

I did, however, leave my wallet under the driver seat when the tires were being installed. So earlier today I went out to check on it. Card's still there (as are the other cards) and the wallet didn't seem to have been disturbed. I checked the other accounts and there's nothing untoward in any of them.

Oh well.

The insurance part is what puzzles me. Can't resell it, can't cash it in, and any policy you take out traces back to you in no time at all. The Secret Service won't even break a sweat.

It's a weird choice for credit card fraud.

It's no worry or liability to us. Just a PITA. I have to change payment information in several sites I subscribe to, is all.

And the odds of someone getting their number wrong and having it come up a valid number are pretty high.

Odd for a fraudster to rack up that much on insurance, especially at Progressive. Good thing someone caught it!

Pops hates turkey subs,but instead of eating any of the crap he likes and I can't stand in the fridge,I just found out he ate my dinner.

 Offered him a bunch of options,but he said he'd scrounge something up.{#Frustrated}

Sounds like a plan.The check engine light also came on a couple months ago.All the fluid levels where right and I couldn't find any loose wires or anything.I disconnected the battery for a few hours(after my mechanic offered to fix it for ~$300 during my last tune up) and it went out.Might be time to start looking for a replacement,but it's a 2002 Taurus with only 55,000 miles on it.I figured I'd get another 5 years out of it least,since I never go anywhere but the store or take Pops to the Doc.

Of course it may just be the bulb finally just burnt out. Hopefully its not one of thise that say the door is a jar when in fact it is still a door....

This day was going so well after I skipped baseball and got some sleep,now I not only have to worry about Pops getting dehydrated(diarrhea and 80 mgs of Lasix a day) now the whack job who supplies drugs to the cops is going off with his gun again.Sigh.Gonna be a long night I guess,and I was so close to getting 7 hours of sleep in a 24 hour period since God knows when.
