Seeing that hobbitt has town up the old, overgrown Spanish lavender plants in the garden bed. I have plans!

Had to get new tires on P's car this past Sunday and the guy who did the job was lazy when balancing the wheels, hammering the weights onto the outside of the rim. What's more, he was utterly careless when he re-installed the wheel covers and broke two of them. We didn't discover this until Monday when one of them fell off.

So today I went back to the tire shop and explained all this to the manager. He was totally apologetic and got the car right in to have the wheels re-balanced by a guy who knows what he's doing, leaving no weights on the outside rim. He also told me to go buy a new set of wheel covers, bring him the receipt and he'd be happy to reimburse me for them.

Nice.

Don't go getting all mushy on us, and no blabbing about it - we have a reputation to protect.
