right up 23north (I think it's near Vernon Valley! with those funny commercials.) also, parts of Scotch Plains. . . but BhD's friend Ronnie lives there, and she says that she doesn't have any in her part of time. We have to go to the parts of towns that are experiencing these things.... as far as I know, NO parts of pomplai have any.

I don't t here any here at home but I was subjected to them for hours on my drive through the countryside on Wed to the Docs 3 hours away. Even had a personal visit from one.

So, I'm at mom's there's no cicadas to hear. Hearing some frogs, but no crickets (yet) and no cicadas.

No, they're not on the western side of the Blue Ridge ... yet ... that I've heard. I've been over on the east side of the BR a couple times in the past few weeks and they're over there.

You wouldn't believe the hassle I've had over the last year regarding generator noise and local ordinances. I've spent enough on noise mitigation to buy a couple of houses. I'm thinking about letting a few of these guys loose in the back yards of the complainers.
