This is far from the best quality pic I've snapped, but circumstances being what they were...
Around Rome, there are guys who dress as gladiators and charge people money to have their pictures taken in various locations. This fella was right by Trevi Fountain, and since he was obviously on a break, I (surreptitiously) decided he was fair game for a gratis portrait. I dubbed him Incongruous.
Incongruous!!

My Grampa, the Old Man who was my mentor. Interesting? Very! Highly intelligent, he spoke 9 languages fluently: English, Spanish and 7 Native tribal languages. He is seen here with his war bonnet that was gifted to him for his many years of service. He is sitting in front of the two room cabin he built with his own hands, many years earlier. This cabin he built following the death of his wife when, as tradition dictated, he burned to the ground the cabin he and she had lived in, along with all its contents... a ceremonial expression of release. She died fairly young, he lived in this cabin alone for the rest of his life. Oh! the stories this man would tell!

You are most welcome! One of these days I will compile the stories and personal history my Grampa Peña shared with me.

I've decided that's a cat sitting on top of the fridge but for at least 5 minutes I thought it was the back of your head. Sitting on top of the fridge.
Its a cat with her head in her junk as usual. I have a house of headless cats.
