When a 13 or 17 year brood come through, the early morning topwater bass fishing just gets unreal on the Potomac and Shenandoah.

shorts season, finally. Boots and wooly tights season went on for far too long. Nb it only has to hit 60 f for me to wear shorts. Otherwise they wouldn't get much use.

Ps I have just edited wooly tits to wooly tights, cackling.

Temps are still cool, with a high only in the mid 60s. But the high tomorrow? 84. Perfect weekend weather! Come on, weekend!!
