The county has gone to Austin to plead with the capitol for funding to help alleviate this mess.... but to no avail.

As this one little county just south of SA loses their air quality, their personal safety or the ability to drive to their grocery store without a fatal accident, Rick 'I-love-Jeebus-until-his-teachings-cost-money' Perry continues to bask in the glory of heavier State treasury coffers and muses over whether to give the funds back to funding education - which he's cut repeatedly. This one county is suffering for the vanity of this governor. Its atrocious.

The US will change from the world's leading importer of oil to a net exporter.

never mind what this will do to the environment.

I'm not sure that it's very "amazing"; I saw that graphic somewhere a few months ago, and its premise seems a little off the mark, unless there are really great numbers of people buy plastic flatware to use at home, because they want to save the effort of washing their metal silverware.  Plastic flatware has primarily been made for the food service industry to pack along with to-go orders, and for people to use at outdoor, food events like picnics and barbecues - for about 60 years.  Anyhow, I actually wash and re-use plastic utensils if I get them, mostly to bring with my lunch.
