Well, I attempted to re-create Hobbitt's special blend of coffee....but since I could only acquire "chocolate macadamia nut" instead of mocha java, it's not quite the same. It'll probably never be the exact same - gotta go to the Labs for it.

Alexandra wrote: Hmm. Why have I never heard of this? And then you just drink it cold in the morning? How does it brew thoroughly in cold temps? Same principle as sun tea. I just put grounds in a jar, shake it up good, leave it at least eight hours in the fridge and then strain it through an old Melitta coffee filter. Yes, drink it cold.
It's totally different (smoother) than hot brewed coffee, but still unmistakeably coffee.

Then I cover the top with plastic and a rubber band and put it in the fridge overnight as the top press part sticks up to high for it to fit in the fridge. Next morning I press it and its amazingly good. It brews fine in cold just takes longer and the oils in the coffee don't go bitter from being heated.
