While reading about a survivor of a 1957 air crash in Indonesia, and her rescue from the burning sea, Radiohead starts:I'm on a roll, I'm on a roll to success I feel my luck could change Kill me Sarah, Kill me again with love, It's gonna be a glorious day Pull me out of the aircrash, Pull me out of the lake, 'Cause I'm your superhero, We are standing on the edge The head of state has called for me by name But I don't have time for him It's gonna be a glorious day I feel my luck could change Pull me out of the aircrash, Pull me out of the lake, 'Cause I'm your superhero, We are standing on the edge We are standing on the edge Read more at http://www.songmeanings.net/songs/view/564/#cWmIIVPwWFZUSaUA.99

fuzzy wrote: This happened last summer IIRC. I drove to the airport to drop off my oldest. They were calling for rain that day and i was not looking forward to driving 1 1/2 hours in the rain early in the morning when it was still dark. Turned out the rain held back all the way to the airport. I had brought a CD with me to listen to on the way back home. A friend of mine had recommended it. I was familiar with the band, but not this particular album or any of the songs. After saying my goodbyes i go back to the (covered) parking lot. The rain was now coming down full tilt! Just a-pouring. I drive out into the rain. I wait until i hit the highway before playing the CD. Once i'm on the highway, the rain is beating down hard on the windshield with the wipers flapping furiously in a vain attempt to give me a clear vision of the road. I pop the CD in and return my right hand on the steering wheel, gripping it tightly. So here i was, white-knuckling the steering wheel and peering ahead with slightly squinted eyes making sure the road had my full attention. The CD had started playing. Loud, the way i like it. It was a blues tune. The music played for about 20 seconds and then the singer belts out: "Keep your eyes on the road, your hands upon the wheel". Talk about freaky.
...a couple of hours after reading this my HD came up with Roadhouse Blues by the Doors...

As I settled into my bus seat for the commute home today, I closed my eyes and began to think positive thoughts about getting this job (that I phone-interviewed for), or the one that a friend is trying to help me get. And deliverance from poverty. And this came on my psychic iPod. Help is coming I heard a whisper White caps turning Breath of summer....
