I will take my chances with a plant or herb grown in nature over man made chemicals EVERY time provided you have a good knowledge of plants and their proper usages. I trust mother nature over the FDA any day.

I agree, and the assertions of the petitioners are ridiculous, but I didn't see much specific language about not disclosing the added ingredients in the nutritional info panel of the product.  It seemed to be more about not labeling "low-fat" milk as such, and "sweetening" it to make it more appealing - which is still ludicrous.  It makes me wonder how often such absurd petitions get filed and what the rate of approval is.

Oh yea my wife has a personal crusade against the FDA for stuff like this and the fact they try to outlaw so many natural herb remedies. FDA needs a brighter spotlight to highlight their insidious and yet not fully known agenda.{#Eek}

Darn, that's disappointing. The other day, I came across the following article featuring a bunch of pot pie recipies.Could be a winner or two in there (one of these days, I might be ambitious enough to try one of the recipies myself)
