Scott's co-worker ordered from Amazon.com ... free shipping and paid $8 per tire for mounting and balancing. And, that's here in the boons.

Thanks, guys. I found the Michelins locally (well, Sequim) at a good price. I have an appointment at 4 today. Whee! Getting ready to head to Montana, grow a crop of dental floss.

Got a Sam's Club within 50 miles ? That's where we have been getting ours most often and the prices are pretty fair as well as having decent choices.

I'm looking at Michelin Defenders or Continental ProContact Eco Plus for the red car. No Sam's Club in Seattle, and we're Costco members. And Costco doesn't carry the tires I want.

I think Discount Tire carries both these brands. I'll give a call tomorrow to Sequim.

Online can be ok. Don't know any that serve your area. I do know that some will come to homes or places of business and install them in your driveway or parking lot. Check out BBB ratings, return policies. Local places will install them but be prepared for $20 per installation or more.

Got a Sam's Club within 50 miles ? That's where we have been getting ours most often and the prices are pretty fair as well as having decent choices.

sounds like normal condensation from the a/c. the quantity is more affected by humidity than temperature.
