Is it an old amp? Can you do a google on the Mfg number stamped on the amp?
Or in your mind. I go through this every time I have an idea I picture in my mind and need implemented.

I can contact them about that, but the remote outlet needs to be a learning type, or I find something that will respond to the proper code, move a switch, and power up the 12v power supply. Something that's so easy on paper.

Yes, the amp has a 12v trigger input. I want the amp to turn on when I push the remote power button for the preamp. A switched outlet turned on by the remote would work, because I could plug a 12v power supply into this outlet which would trigger the amp.
