I agree with Jewel - I have a mixed CD with her singing O'holy night on it and I think it has become my favorite Christmas song.

I am keeping track of what is "new music" to me from RP in the journal site so if I hear a song at work I can look up what I like when I get home.

Works better than carring a peice of pape home every day!

Happy New Year

Jeff Buckley... Moving

Stevie Ray Vaughn ... fun

Jewel... the lady can yodle- she's a fave, though I don't care for everything she's done.

Christina Aguilera... never got her due... she has a great voice range & has some good stuff which never got air play. She & Alicia teamed up & I liked it.

Diana Krall... can make a piano talk! She & Elvis Costello have co-written some really good stuff.

Mae Moore & Lester quitzau... clean, pure, I enjoy them.

Garth Brooks... In my opinion can tell a story... To Make You Feel My Love, Wild as the Wind, The Dance, Shameless, The Thunder Rolls, Friends in Low Places... & so on... I get visual images from his songs!

The Beatles... I like them more today than ever.

Bare Naked Ladies...

David Gray... simplicity

Ray Lamontagne... I'm cheering for him... Go Ray Go.

There are just soooooo many & I haven't had my first cup of coffee.... .... ....
