Stevie Ray Vaughan - Tightrope
(Feb 07, 2005 - 11:34)
You've got to be kidding about this. I'm sure they play them a lot but all radio stations are required to play them both every hour regardless of the genre of the station?
Sounds like BS to me.
Led Zeppelin - Travelling Riverside Blues
(Feb 07, 2005 - 11:16)
|"Thank you, thank you, whoever uploaded this! Lots of Zep seems to have gotten a...patina, over the years,"
"Patina"???Who talks like this? This is Led Zeppelin, not a painting or your old cast iron skillet.
Sheryl Crow - White Room (w/ Eric Clapton)
(Feb 04, 2005 - 12:59)
Is there a way to edit this song so that you can't hear Sheryl?? Just wondering.... Why does Eric let himself be subjected to this bastardization of his music? Can't be for the "artistic" value. This song was just fine in it's original form.
Robbie Robertson - Night Parade
(Feb 04, 2005 - 12:51)
Ok, I'm better now....this is much better than that Leonard Cohen "song" played earlier. Thanks for playing happy music again.

I just read phorp's comment after I typed my comment and all I can say is GMTA! :D
Dire Straits - So Far Away
(Dec 03, 2002 - 11:52)

|This is one of the few Dead songs I like and it is completely unacceptable to hear anyone else do it.
Ditto to Max Power!

Wasn't this from the 60's?? The revolution could have been Vietnam, civil rights, drugs, peace, love and happiness, rock n' roll, etc... Take your pick.

Santana - Europa (Earth's Cry, Heaven's Smile)
(May 16, 2002 - 15:18)
I totally agree with RonH and I would like to add that until you see Santana in concert you just can't fathom how amazing he really is. He is one of the very best there is - period. Once you see him live, you're hooked!

Actually what he's talking about is the INS. Migra is a spanish slang for the the word 'immigration'. The song gets no air play here on local stations because of what they're saying in spanish (swearing). It is a great song though.
U2 - Beautiful Day
(Apr 25, 2002 - 12:05)
If you ever get to see the Arizona Diamondbacks play at Bank One ballpark in Phoenix, you might hear this song and it sounds sooo good! They have an incredible sound system there!
U2 - Where the Streets Have No Name

Well, I'm no music intellectual - but I know what I like. In simple terms: This is one of those songs I will always like until the day I die.
Cream - I Feel Free
(Apr 19, 2002 - 10:06)
Ok, I guess. How about some early Clapton or the Yardbirds?
