Nirvana - Come As You Are (Jul 21, 2004 - 06:54) | I with the "not for me", crowd here. What was all the fuss about? Imagine a really poor metal band and you get Nirvana. It was a bit of bad metal for the masses. Not particularly ground breaking and I don't think particularly talented with the exception of David Grohl who has gone on to a band wothy of his talents.

Béla Fleck - Gravity Wheel (Jul 19, 2004 - 03:40) | Sounds like a theme tune for an LA Law special were they took a case on for Jed Clampett.
Its just nasty.
|
The Stranglers - Skin Deep (Jul 16, 2004 - 03:44) | Always great to hear something from the Stranglers.
How about something to pogo to? I've come over all punk -

Gubi Sandhu - Nakhra (feat. MC Coppa) (Jul 15, 2004 - 06:54) | Eclectic yes, but please some acceptable limits are required. I thought I'd stumbled onto MTV's site. This stuff just doesn't fit. No its not a rap thing, this is just crap.

|
The Beeps - Paterson (Jul 15, 2004 - 06:43) | I chekcked these guys out after hearing The Jesus Song on RP. I have to say I love their stuff. It's fantastic.
There's another band kicking around called Brand Violet that are in a similar vain. Also very good. BV seem to have some of their stuff available on the iTunes store or you can download bits from their web site.
If your into this sort of thing its well worth checking both these bands out.

Babble - Tribe (Jun 25, 2004 - 02:11) | How about Stereo MC's meet Primal Scream?
|
Jeff Buckley - Lover, You Should've Come Over (Jun 24, 2004 - 06:32) | Yeah, I agree this is a nice track. BUT. There's a time and place for slash your wrists, my birds just left me music. And work is not one of them.
Sorry guys, not during the working day, thanks.

Wall Of Voodoo - Mexican Radio (May 26, 2004 - 07:42) | Great track. I was first introduced to it by Celtic Frost in the late 80's on Into the Pandemonium.
|
Air - Run (May 21, 2004 - 05:45) | Air a great outfit and I have the utmost respect for them, but this monotonous crap.
|
Air - Run (Apr 01, 2004 - 08:08) | If only it were half as good as 10cc's classic. This is one of the worst Air tracks I've ever heard. The military probably use it for extracting confessions instead of white noise.
|
Hooverphonic - Jackie Cane (Feb 27, 2004 - 05:05) | A great track from a great album. Slightly weird mix on the album but great stuff all the same. This track sounds like it could have been in a rock musical. Its just got that stage sound. I can see how you could love it or hate, me, I love it.
