Spencer Davis Group - Gimme Some Lovin

I think of one thing when this song comes on, Iron Eagle.

Doug Masters: This is Iron Eagle, he's not being moved, what's the hold-up?
Control tower operator: We are having trouble finding a jeep suitable for your, um, purposes.
Doug Masters: Bullshit, you've got a whole country full of them!
<pauses
Doug Masters: You just lost a refinery!

at first this song felt like eclectic rock, but after about 3 minutes it felt like a trainwreck of public domain audio clips from the 50s.

Jethro Tull - Thick as a Brick
(Jan 05, 2007 - 13:49)
The first time I heard the name Jethro Tull was in the movie Armageddon. I thought it was one of those classic rock acts that was popular enough to hear of but not popular enough to actually hear, even on classic rock stations. thanks Bill for putting this in the rotation. Its not a favorite but it expands my horizons.

Oscar: "You know, one thing that really drives me mad is when people think that Jethro Tull is just a member of the band."
Psychologist: "Who's Jethro Tull?"
Oscar: glares at psychologist

Nat King Cole - (Get Your Kicks On) Route 66

I see a dog upon the road
