Dave Mason - Look At You Look At Me (Nov 19, 2010 - 02:41) | Graymantle wrote: Responding to Pyro's comment, actually it was Dave himself who played the guitar solo that occupies the second half of "Look at you, Look at me". Clapton did not play on the record at all (I have this on good authority - Dave Mason's own office!) And if you really listen to it - and it is a magnificent solo - it's not in Clapton's style but is very characteristic of Dave's. All through Traffic, much as I liked Steve Winwood's guitar playing I had to admit that Dave was as fine and distinctive a guitarist (he had to be pretty good for Winwood to give him air space). Love Clapton, but this one's definitely down to D. Mason.
Strange... in CD's inlay I own it's written that this solo was played by Clapton.

Janis Ian - God & the FBI (Dec 12, 2007 - 02:50) | The way she sings reminds me the slow version of Dylan's Subterranean homesick blues

It's actually two different women singing vocals. It switches right in the middle of the tune.
Are you sure? I don't agree with you. One woman sang this.

Clare Torry. As I know in 2004 she sued Pink Floyd for this song...

Supergrass - Fin (Apr 12, 2006 - 07:21) | Very familiar to one of Led Zep's song. I don't recall the title right now...

Primus - The Ballad Of Bodacious (Mar 14, 2006 - 06:13) | PRIMUS at last! Try "Electric Uncle Sam" from that album - with Tom Morelo - rocks!
How about OYSTERHEAD - Copeland, Anastazio, Claypool?

Rachid Taha - Barra Barra (Mar 08, 2006 - 02:36) | I like this song. And whole soundtrack. In polish "bara bara" means (in a very soft way) to have sex

But let's say I really did hate 90% of RP's library. Why would you want to kick me out? Don't you want a diversity of opinion to form a truly eclectic music library? Or are you yet another person who claims they want to be "challenged" by music but really only want to hear the stuff they like?
You need a woman
or a man
You hate too much while keep listening.

Neil Diamond - Oh Mary (Jan 19, 2006 - 02:40) | I only can survive this song by counting the amount of all Marys... But I've not started counting from the begining yet so I don't know aggregate.
