Michelle Shocked - If Love Was a Train
(Mar 21, 2013 - 16:44)
Add me to the list of those disgusted by this bigot. Please don't provide her any more attention or income (some of which comes from my contributions to RP).

I think RP should have a separate Neil Young stream just for Neil Young and his brainwashed disciples.

I get it, you don't like Neil Young.  Your comments about him aren't funny yet, but keep trying.

Richie Havens - Freedom

I guess you had to be there to appreciate this song.

Totally agree.  This song in particular is so simple yet so heartfelt.  Beautiful; I could listen to it for hours.

Suzanne Vega - Caramel (live)
(Jul 24, 2012 - 10:05)
Love this song, its pace, and its lyrics.  There's a version by a jazz singer named Chiara Cavello that is even better.

Sinead Lohan - To Ramona
(Jun 19, 2012 - 10:35)
It's as if this song was written just for her.  Absolutely beautiful.

Jesse Sykes & The Sweet Hereafter - The Dreaming Dead
(Aug 17, 2010 - 08:06)
Somebody mentioned recently that Ray Lamontagne sounds a bit like Jesse Sykes.  Thank you, Bill, for playing their songs in succession so I could hear it myself.  Some similarity, but I really enjoy the transition from one excellent song into the next.

Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
(Aug 26, 2009 - 10:10)
Feel this way about Ted Kennedy right now.  Rest in Peace, Teddy.  Thanks for everything.

Vince Guaraldi - Charlie Brown Theme
(Oct 02, 2008 - 10:14)

Guaraldi's music just transports me to another place in time that was simple and wonderful  — for me, a fortunate and imaginative childhood.  The Peanuts helped with their children-only world.

Hank Williams - Ramblin Man
(Mar 12, 2008 - 12:07)
With this one and the 'Soul of a Man' lead-in, Bill must've taken notice of the disgraced Mr. Spitzer.
