Janis Joplin - Get It While You Can
(May 15, 2009 - 05:38)
This is probably my favorite Janis tune. I'm not a huge fan of hers, though I've always appreciated the way she gives it her all. This song's sentiment always inspires me!

A.K.A.C.O.D. - Hypnotised

Creedence Clearwater Revival - Bad Moon Rising
(May 01, 2009 - 11:05)
There's a bathroom on the right! :) That's all I can think of when I hear this song.

Al Stewart - Year Of The Cat
(May 01, 2009 - 08:34)
I like this song. Like several commenters, it brings me back. It puts me in the mind of Baker Street by Gerry Rafferty. Can you play that, too?

Lyle Lovett - If I Had a Boat
(May 01, 2009 - 08:06)
I feel like these last two songs were played just for me. This is my all-time favorite Lyle song, and Annie Lennox's Waiting in Vain is a 10 in my book. What a nice little two-fer.

Alison Krauss - Oh, Atlanta
(May 01, 2009 - 07:44)
I'm pretty sure this is one and the same.

I'm thinking that is a different song from the Bill Payne/Little Feat song of the same name?

Man, you know Lowell George has to love this little honey's version of Bill's song! Extra raisin pie all around!

Yeah, I've found him better in limited doses.

Man, I can't get enough of him!

Bob Marley - Waiting in Vain
(Apr 16, 2009 - 13:50)
I love this song. I have a greater appreciation for it now that I am familiar with Annie Lennox's take on it. I actually prefer Lennox's version (which I certainly never expected), but I still love Marley's. Mmmmm. Things are good.

John Prine - Please Don't Bury Me
(Apr 09, 2009 - 11:46)
I love this song! I haven't heard any John Prine in quite some time; what a refreshing surprise!!

Joan Armatrading - Mama Papa
(Jun 12, 2008 - 12:20)
I was just thinking, what a great little set. I'm digging it!

This more than I can stand.
