Janis Joplin - Get It While You Can (May 15, 2009 - 05:38) | This is probably my favorite Janis tune. I'm not a huge fan of hers, though I've always appreciated the way she gives it her all. This song's sentiment always inspires me!

Al Stewart - Year Of The Cat (May 01, 2009 - 08:34) | I like this song. Like several commenters, it brings me back. It puts me in the mind of Baker Street by Gerry Rafferty. Can you play that, too?

Lyle Lovett - If I Had a Boat (May 01, 2009 - 08:06) | I feel like these last two songs were played just for me. This is my all-time favorite Lyle song, and Annie Lennox's Waiting in Vain is a 10 in my book. What a nice little two-fer.

Alison Krauss - Oh, Atlanta (May 01, 2009 - 07:44) | I'm pretty sure this is one and the same.

Bob Marley - Waiting in Vain (Apr 16, 2009 - 13:50) | I love this song. I have a greater appreciation for it now that I am familiar with Annie Lennox's take on it. I actually prefer Lennox's version (which I certainly never expected), but I still love Marley's. Mmmmm. Things are good.

Joan Armatrading - Mama Papa (Jun 12, 2008 - 12:20) | I was just thinking, what a great little set. I'm digging it!

This more than I can stand.
