I'm not a huge fan, but The Moon and Antarctica is a really good album. From that one, check out: Tiny Cities Made Of Ashes
Alone Down There
The Stars Are Projectors

Agreed, The Stars Are Projectors is simply out-of-this-world.  I can't believe they haven't played it on RP.

Bob Dylan - Tombstone Blues
(Jan 20, 2009 - 19:31)
So, maybe I'm strange but I've never heard any Dylan I enjoyed.  I find most of his songs to be annoying and uninteresting (including this one).  This is a bit alarming to me since he is so highly renowned, and I like nearly almost everything else played on RP.  So, anyone have recommendations for noobie-friendly Dylan?

Flaming Lips - Turn It On
(Jul 08, 2008 - 19:27)
I have this random bootleg of the Lips performing stuff from Zaireeka at a small club somewhere. Before they start playing you can hear a lone, persistent voice calling out from the back of the venue, "Turn It On!"
Pearl Jam - Black (Live)
(Apr 23, 2008 - 10:03)
Awesome song but this live version just doesn't have the same raw power as the studio cut.
The Police - Invisible Sun
(Apr 01, 2008 - 12:43)
Much better than the version by Sting on the X-Files movie soundtrack, but I still don't quite dig.
Cake - Arco Arena
(Mar 28, 2008 - 20:57)

Right on, I know all the words this one...

Me too! "Hey" "Yeah" "Oh" "Yaah" "Uh"
Semisonic - Get A Grip
(Mar 13, 2008 - 13:43)
I really needed this song about now. Thanks!!!
Radiohead - Jigsaw Falling Into Place
(Dec 12, 2007 - 13:06)
It definitely had its effect on me - now I involuntarily start dancing when it comes on. And by induction I can show how my neighbors will soon be had as well...
Wallflowers - How Good It Can Get
(Dec 10, 2007 - 13:20)
Not a bad tune, but loses points due to popped-collar-album-cover.
Israel Kamakawiwo'ole - Somewhere/Wonderful
(Sep 20, 2007 - 17:03)
Really needed that; thanks
James McMurtry - Safe Side
(Aug 15, 2007 - 18:15)
Xenophobic or tongue-in-cheek... hmm...
Radiohead - Let Down
(Apr 20, 2007 - 20:56)
I absolutely love this song but I SWEAR it sounds like it slows down after the opening instrumental.
Radiohead - Karma Police
(Apr 16, 2007 - 22:18)
Amazon.com not calling this an "Essential Recording" is the crime of the century
Radiohead - Subterranean Homesick Alien
(Apr 07, 2007 - 21:24)
This has always been my least favorite OK Computer track over the seven years I've had the album (said another way, one of my favorite tracks ever). But the amazing instrumentation is just winning me over.
Ray Charles - Let's Go Get Stoned
(Apr 06, 2007 - 18:28)
Wait, did Bill just admit to doing DRUGS???
Maurice Ravel - Bolero
(Apr 04, 2007 - 21:47)
Johnny Cash, Gorillaz, and freakin Maurice Ravel in the same day?

...any states where it's legal to marry a radio station?
