B.B. King - The Thrill Is Gone
(Dec 09, 2007 - 22:45)
Wow. I grew up listening B.B. King tapes. The man can sing the blues. He's probably the biggest influence for me to live a life of music appreciation. Props.
Iron & Wine - Peace Beneath the City
(Dec 09, 2007 - 20:10)
I love this song! I want to hear some of their other ones.

The Sandals - Theme from Endless Summer

ahhh.... quite relaxing.
Thievery Corporation - Dance On Vaseline (w/ David Byrne)
(Dec 09, 2007 - 19:30)
Pretty good. I like Thievery Corp, but this reminds me a little of Talking Heads.
Santana - Guajira
(Dec 09, 2007 - 19:27)
Guajira (music), a style of Cuban music, song or dance

The Waifs - Sun Dirt Water
(Dec 09, 2007 - 19:03)
Nice melody. Lilting but sweet.
Cake - Conroy
(Dec 09, 2007 - 18:49)
Yes, striking in contrast to the songs around it...
But I like it! Great beat, interesting play of rythms. Nothing like most of Cake's music, but a good song nonetheless. These guys surprise me all the time.
