Love this song....can't stand the guy who uses it for a theme song.

I feel so stupid giving this a TEN but what the hell....

Don't feel too bad, I did the same thing!

Regina Spektor - All the Rowboats
(Mar 03, 2013 - 19:55)
I'm sorry I just cannot get past the mind numbing electric guitar endless repeating the same jarring phrase.   It sets my teeth on edge and I cannot hear anything else.

Alt-J - Tessellate

Thanks, I was just trying to find this version.   I like the looping, but it's just close to being too much, lol.

Eagles - Hotel California (live acoustic)
(Sep 21, 2012 - 19:40)
I love Radio Paradise for the variety and exposure to songs and artists I might not otherwise hear.   However this song just sets my teeth on edge.

Kate Bush - Running Up That Hill
(Jun 16, 2012 - 19:09)
My first Kate Bush song.    Still love it and her.

John Lennon - Crippled Inside
(Jun 14, 2012 - 21:23)
Wow!   Why have I never heard this song before?

Pearl Jam - Of the Girl

Agreed. I don't care for Pearl Jam at all and was dismayed when I saw one of their songs was about to play next. But to my surprise, I really like this song.

Indeed, I'd almost rather ram pointy objects into my ears that hear pearl jam and his mumbling, but I do like this son.

Feist - A Commotion

Yes indeed!   That certainly grabbed my attention.   Wonderful song too.

And that is one reason why I like Joan Osborne's cover even better.  She adds a little spine to it.  You actually get the indictment of religion ("someone is listening from a safe distance").

Yes I really like Joan Osborne's version.  I'd over heard once and had to research it because it so capture me.   This version just simply does nothing for me other than hope it passes soon.

Pearl Jam - Just Breathe
(Aug 19, 2011 - 17:46)
Ugh, I hate to admit it.   They finally found a Pearl Jam song that I kind of like.

Oi Va Voi - Waiting
(Oct 19, 2009 - 20:39)
Is it just me, or does that plucking sound remind anyone else of the music from Six Feet Under?   Doesn't mean I don't like this song (I do!), but it just puts another level on it to me while I listen.

Ben Folds Five - Brick
(Sep 19, 2009 - 22:30)
Is it just me and my roommates, or doesn't the end of the song imply that the girl is dying from the procedure?   I've always thought that and so it was time to tell the truth—to her parents, with whom she lives.

Spoon - Don't Let It Get You Down
(Sep 19, 2009 - 19:34)
Sorry, I just can't stand that guitar wang, it sets my teeth on edge...and it keeps happening again and again.   Shame, because I like the rest of the song.

Paolo Nutini - Candy
(Sep 15, 2009 - 21:30)
Okay, showing my age, I thought the Burl Ives thing too.  But there is just something about this song and voice that just really does in for me.  So I'm in the minority, but I really do like it.  The video I saw makes it even better.

Coldplay - Viva la Vida
(Jun 22, 2009 - 19:21)
I thought the song was cute the first time or two I heard it.  Then it got to the point I wanted to hammer a nail into my head every time I heard it.  With all the wonderful music out there, I can't understand why this song got so highly rated by so many people.
