Sam Phillips - Edge of the World
(May 09, 2013 - 14:41)
now to hear Tom Waits' On the Other Side of the World...

TV On the Radio - Things You Can Do
(Oct 13, 2010 - 16:48)
Sounds like Peter Gabriel singing over Fela Kuti.

Sebadoh - On Fire
(Sep 13, 2010 - 15:13)
Saw these guys on the Bakesale tour—they were great! Lou, J. Lowenstein (who also did some tracks w/ The Palace Brothers, for all you Will Oldham fans) and (can't remember the other dude's name) kept switching it up through the show drums to bass to guitar. The double album of their first recordings "FreedWeed" is quintessential lo-fi. Thanks for the Sebadoh!

High Violets - Wheel

{#Roflol} With a drop of Stone Roses; sometimes the lines do get a little blurry.

And a pinch of Jesus & Mary Chain

& some Love & Rockets!
