Saw PJ in a small club 13 years ago, still one of the best I have ever seen. Maybe not a bad that will be remembered forever but true to their music and non-commercial.

Not much jam to this one, but still a pearl.

I am a newbie here but I have heard PJ numerous times. Prior to that I don't think I'd heard them for a LONG time. Good reason for that :)

One of my favorite PJ cuts. There are proly plenty of PJ detractors around, but when this band is on, they are ON. I dig them.

During the bridge, the guitar on this track sounds an awful lot like the lick from Dire Straits' "So Far Away". I heard a story/rumor that someone brought this fact to DS's attention and a conversation between Pearl Jam and DS ensued:
DS: "Hey, you boners stole our sweet guitar part for your new song."
PJ: "Hm, it appears we did. Sorry about that."
DS: "Eh, no big whoop."
Nice to hear that no lawsuits went flying because of this, a-la the Verve and ABKCO or any of a bazillion rap sampling misadventures. But like I said, that's only a rumor, maybe DS didn't even call them on it.

I *absolutely hated* this song when it first came out.
Over the last 4 years, it really has grown on me.

I still don't. Sorry, this one doesn't do it for me. Eddie's vocal style is a bit too whiney for my tastes.

Really well-written lyrics from Eddie. Nice turn of a phrase on more than one occasion during "Wishlist". I think Vedder's lyrical talent is still not fully appreciated. Bet it will be in time.
