HAHHA, I love the Dead, but God they should have never let her sing. She sounded like a dying cat. My friends and I always talked about how she sucked.

It started out good and I popped over to my RP tab to give it a good rating when I noticed who the band was. So I gave it a minute and Grateful Dead didn't fail to disappoint. Muddy sound, inane lyrics, repetitive noodling "music"--all the hallmarks of classic Dead.

The only accurate statement "physicsgenius" has made.

Not a big GD fan, but this song just grooves my butt off. Love it.

My first roommate in art school overplayed the hell out of the Grateful Dead.

He even talked one of our teachers, also a GD fan, into making one of our assignments to design a GD album cover, thus ruining them for me forever.

Great crisp drum kit--just like Levon's Helm's rig. As LH says, you can ''hear more stick--more wood.''
Ringo said he tried for years to get LH's crisp drum sound--even tried draping a towel over the back of the skins.

I quite like this one. But it sounds really weak coming after Muddy - Baby Please Don't Go

Not the best version of this song, but still, a wonderful, happy tune to hear on this foggy friday morning!

Perfect for half an hour left of work. Perfect also for the beginning of spring, for knowing summer is on the way, for beer and friends and good times.

This is a good example of how badly a reasonable bunch of musicians can play when they are too stoned to concentrate well.
