Since the first time I first heard Chris Isaak around 1990 I never wanted to dislike him, and never have. He (and his band) are excellent in my opinion. I do prefer the original version of this song, as others have said. But Baja Sessions is a great album. Great summer music. |

There was an instrumental song in the 90s that had a similar sound. What its name was is totally escaping me, but it was just that guitar and maybe a sax doing a "Call and response" type playing over a generic drum beat...?
