Brilliance. Thanks for playing something from this classic album other than the title track, which, though great, needs to be put away on the shelves for a little while.

My Lord, it really doesn't get better than this, and Van the Man's sublime lyrics and lusty Belfast vocal stylings can still rock my gypsy soul to Kingdom Come. Definitely a Never Get Tired of THAT One number, for sure...

I'm generally not a big fan of Van Morrison. However, this song is fantastic.

If that's how you feel about the title track then you should get his live album A Night In San Francisco. It features a completely re-arranged and wonderful version of Moondance. |

It's tough for me to make a top ten list of my favorite songs because times and taste change, but this one without a doubt, is always #1.

Does this song ring as true in the arid states as it does in the Northwest?

God, I love this - isn't it one of the purist love songs? But I had to run off and play David Gray's "Say Hello Wave Goodbye" - if you haven't heard it, it's one of the great, bitter, break-up songs. He quotes "Into the Mystic" at the end, and it's just heartbreaking. ps love Van's accent on this "Intah tha msteek".
