Play 'Dead Flowers' or 'Far Away Eyes' at a bar, say it's the Stones, and see how many drinks you win!

I just gotta say how much I love the The Glimmer Twins for being the TOTAL package. Any lyrical topic in any musical style. The Greatest Rock and Roll Band, hah!! The Greatest Band, period.

No, this is not country. Its perhaps remotely country-inspired, but listen to that beat, people. Rock at its best.

I was watching the movie FM recently and it features a pretty decent rendition of this by Linda Ronstadt.

Ummmm....Blues and Motown is where most of the early English invasion inspiration, and lots of its material, came from. It took the English to show us Americans the incredible art we had in our own backyard but couldn't (wouldn't) see because it was from the wrong side of the tracks. |

Never thought of it that way, I have to say.
It is a good tune, however.

Wow, with 86 total ratings as of right now, I have given this the lowest rating, with a 5! I've never seen such a consistent set of ratings on RP! As for me, I've just never much liked the Stones, and there are a number of Stones tunes I like more... Stray Cat Blues is pretty good, for example.

It's definitely in the top 3.
I gotta go with Let it Bleed as Numero Uno. |
