"Roll another one, just like the other one.
You've been hanging on to it, and I sure would like a hit."

I have to live up to my namesake.

This is a great tune. Screw my coworkers, I have to turn it up.

Only my second 10 rating in my young RP career. (Stevie's Superstition).

Shuddering with collegiate memories of lights out and a smoldering US water pipe, pizza on the way ;)

Reminds me of my English teacher who discussed and explained two Stones lyrics, I brought with me and we also listened to the songs of course. Melody and Jumping Jack Flash.
Not at all that common in those days (the late seventies). Especially not, because it was a Christian school. The lyrics gave him some hard moments ('one day I'm gonna have the pleasure, to roast that child alive' etc.) but he didn't back in
I remember he, himself liked bands like Tangerine Dream and Soft Machine a lot.

My favorite Pink Floyd of all time, and yes I appreciate the older stuff too. This one just kills with the alliteration in the lyrics and the incredible guitar work by Gilmour, even though i'm a die hard Waters follower. Thanks RP.

Y'know, I was getting ready to turn out the lights when this song came on. I half thought about falling asleep to it, but was afraid of the psychedlic dreams it might inspire. I'll have to stay awake for a while and sober up just from listening! ;)

Great song!

No, since "Dark Side of the Moon" they may not. Prior to that, they have my permission.

I get chill bumps listening to this song. It is one of those tunes that takes me to a place in time. This is one of the greatest Floyd tunes out there.

Another dissenter here. This song just doesn't work for me. I'd rather see Emily play. ;)

Once per day doesn't seem like too much for the best track on the RP playlist.

More PF on RP ;)
