Small town Canadian prairie girl makes big! She's from Morden, Manitoba.
Somehow I don't think this would fit in with their Corn & Apple festival!
love the instrumentation & her stuff.

I love this cd and this song. The music really takes you away from it all. I can almost picture floating on a magic flying carpet and watching a dancing cobra while shopping in the marketplace. Need this little mind vacation. Thanks RP!!! |

On the contrary, I think "Marco Polo" is one of Loreena McKennitt's finest pieces. |

I'll save you the trouble:

I keep wanting a good old fashion Turkish Yip in the brief silence at the end of the bar. Maybe I'm a frustrated producer

Classical??? Maybe not rock in the pure sense of rock but I would say rock before classical. Makes me think of mid-eastern actually. |

RIGHT! Too many people just want medocrity in their lives. Just some "background music" that strikes a familiar chord. If it sounds too different from "radio rock" then, boom! they're outta here!
How sad |

Well, of COURSE it's for opinions, sweetie. You're entitled to yours; I'm entitled to mine. So...
IMNSHO, if you're looking for "typical rock radio" you're damn-sure correct about being plugged into the wrong MP3 stream. "Typical rock radio" format formulae are readily available all over dee place. RadioParadise is a refuge for those of us looking for a somewhat broader source of stimulus. Least that's the way things sound from my chair. YMMV |

Given some of your comments towards other songs of this ilk I don't think you quite get the format of Bill's Rock Radio... |
