Reminds me of seeing Ms. Manson leaving Ancora Coffee, presumably on her way back to Smart Studios, in the pouring rain, looking less than happy.

I'm not so sure bands should call themselves such names? I guess Trash was taken... but Flatulence, as far as I know, is still available!

This band seemed so fresh when they first hit, and this still sounds great. What the heck happened to them?

Loving this.

It's interesting that when Miss Manson was interviewed a while back on some TV show, she was asked what her least favourite Garbage track was. And she said she utterly hated singing this one.

Can't imagine why. I think it's classic Garbage in a good way.

King Richard Coffee here in Tucson has a slogan: "When it pours, we reign." I guess seeing "Rain King" followed by this one made me thing of that.

Mainstream radio cut from a band with a lot more to offer.

Wow, how long did it take for you to think of that one? Do you really think they didn't think about that when they chose the name of the band? I think those Scots can handle a little bad mouthing. Meanwhile the apparently largish number of us who like this song will just keep ignoring comments like this.

Keep up the good ignoring work.

Added later..... Having looked at the long list of bands/singers you rated 3 and below I am not really surprised by your low rating of Garbage. Kinda makes me wonder why you listen to RP. You have several dozens of songs rated as "1" but only 3 you've rated as "10". A statistical review of your overall rating system suggests that you find the bulk of what's played on RP to be sub average. It seems like you stay here on RP because you enjoy listening to music you don't like and then flaming it.

granted, I'll have to admit Annie has much greater depth and range, but the overalll reminiscent sound bears similarity. And after viewing some of your 10's and 1's, all I have to say is "sows in glass pens shouldn't throw mud!" :butt: :butt: :butt:

Butch Vig played drums in Garbage. Some balding producer-guy played guitar IIRC.
