This one has always resonated for me, for some reason (I think it is the phrase "in-between days;" I get that). At certain points of my life, it has been like a theme song.

No, that's ignorant. This one is substantially less monotonous than most of their material.

But no matter, at their best the Cure turn monotony into a virtue.

Not that the Cure live for upbeat tunes ... this one is fantastic and I can remember a number of us trying to get that sound with our acoustic guitars
