I can feel his pain, really (look what Ol' Bill did to our language :???: ).

But can we relate? Shouldn't we?

I like only some of Nirvana's music but I think this song is incredible. I believe this song will stand the test of time.

FYI, Sinead O'Connor does a nice, different take on this song.

I can def. respect these guys for the impact they had on music. But not a big fan of their music...

The first phrase of the hook sounds like singing . . . then it turns into straining. Singer has made a fine art out of grating disharmony alternating with boring scatting. He gives the music itself, which is repetitive tunelessness, a run for its money. If you put 100 kindergartners in a room with a MIDI program plus craft paper and crayons . . . something similar might emerge.
Unfortunately, the hook is also catchy and hard to scrape off the walls of one's music memory! Doubly unfortunate, the song has been overplayed everywhere, including here. Sad.

That's funny. I didn't even realize the guitars were out of tune. Besides sticking to "standard" notes really limits the possibilities.

Good, but I like the album version better.

i love that video where they're on that Ed Sullivan-like show and he mispronounces their name.

AAARRRRGGGHHH!!!!! TUNE YOUR GODDAMN GUITARS!!!! I think I'd rather hear the sound of my own teeth being dragged across cement than hear this song again. Time to shut off my speakers for a while...

Nirvana? No thanks, overrated in my minority opinion.

This song is scarily honest and raw. It stops me and makes me listen everytime I hear it.

This song might have been more tolerable had they bothered to tune their guitars. But probably not.

If you have the balls ... play "Milk It" from In Utero.
