Not the strongest voice out there! Actually kinda weak.

Definately one of the more over-rated musical "talents" today...

Definately one of my favorite artists. She sings great, looks great, and have a really laid back personality.

I ain't impressed with too much these days, but Sheryl Crow's second and third albums and the initial singles from each, "If it makes you happy" and "Favorite Mistake" are two of the best popular radio songs from the last decade. While pickings were slim, especially in the late 90's regarding anything good being "popular," Crow was the exception. I believe that Favorite Mistake is one of the tightest songs I have ever heard. Like many others, I cringed (and still do) at the sound of "All I wanna do", but Sheryl deserves credit for good songwriting and production and for surrounding herself with good people.

Everytime I hear this I think at first that its Joan Osbourn, "the talented one".

Still like it in any case, and like the fact that its different from the other songs of Sheryl Crow's that are widly popular. :)

I don't mind the song, but I cannot stand Sheryl Crow's voice It's so thin and nasally and grates on the ears - arggh! I'd like to hear her songs...performed by someone else!

I remember saying when 'All I Want to Do' came out, that I thought this chick was a 'one-hit wonder.'

Ok I was wrong. She's made some ok music since then. This is a decent-sounding song.

And yeah, she's cute.

But she's still dumb as a doorknob when it comes to politics and war.

Love this song! Great lyrics! Great production!

Sheryl gets my vote as the best female artist at blending true art and commercialism without sacrificing either.

Also want to hear her Ordinary Morning track on RP -- it would work perfectly!

I've always liked SC but only when she strays from the mainstream sound.

It's probably not cool to admit that one is a banjo player around here, but this is one tune that all around, from that tasteful banjo, the Duane Eddy guitar, the pretty strumming guitar, and her voice, damn. It just doesn't get much better. Time to head for the music store...

I enjoy the depth that Sheryl Crow is capable of putting into her voice and she does it no better than she does with this song. Great stuff.

I agree with you. I think that she will never make another album like this.

OH NO!!! I can't STAND Sheryl Crow.. Her voice just grinds at my brain! Some weird mix between a country singer and a dying dog trying to sing something that sounds like alternative.. It hurts!!

Forget the pop radio stuff -- Sheryl Crow's albums are remarkably deep in great songs.
