Well, that's your problem and not ours.

It's amazing how many avid music listeners have never heard of this cat.

so sad he passed away so young. imagine all the beautiful songs he never had the chance to write.

my favorite is At the Chime of a City Clock, but there are so many great ones.

Maybe he should change the chorus to "Plink plink plink plink". Atleast it will go with the guitar playing LOL.

Its amazing that it took a commercial to turn the world onto Nick Drake...By the way has anyone ever heard "RIVER MAN" by N. Drake?

'Holy Smokes', what a cool tune!! Check it out!!!

Every song by this guy is evocative to the point of an emotional overload. A supreme talent that is under exposed and sorely missed.

I completely agree. There's something about the softness of the voice, the rythm, the entire ensemble that just makes me want to weep....

Please play more Nick Drake. Please play Bryter Layter material. This got my first 10 because "godlike" is a tall bar. I'll pull out another one for Townes Van Zandt, though, if I hear him here.

i am usually stingy with my 10's, but this song rates a 10 if ever one did. a brilliant, cute, quirky, sweet, lovely litttle piece of music. too bad it took a dumb TV ad to get his message out. i actually heard/saw the ad in the movies while waiting for the previews to begin. it sounded great cause of the good sound system at the movies. i have been a fan ever since.

I couldn't agree more, a pretty damn near perfect little pop song! I'm not sure I agree with the too bad about how the message got out tho. If people discover it because of that, what the heck?

How could a song like this pass under my radar for 35 years until I heard it in that stupid commercial is beyond me.

And then, when I DID hear it, I thought it was Israel Kakakawhateverhisnameis (IZ)....

What a gem.....

I discovered him via dumb luck about 15 years ago. I don't REALLY like to share him and hope the rest of the world treasures his creations as much as I. Something very special about his music!

the only complaint in the world is the song is too short.

This song should be listened to late at night with a gentle rain coming down. :) I'm still sad that I didn't discover him until after he had passed from this earth.
