Always love to hear the Moodies. I spent hours and hours listening in my younger years.

Like he said... I luv the Moodies, too!
I got hip in 'Frisco in '67 and I miss it still...
Don't dare go south of the border these days tho' - do they gitmo gays yet?
But do come on up to the Great White North sometime (never mind the MexiGold - we got BCBud)

I think I have to get the Deluxe Edition of To Our Children's Children's Children. I remember the LP being muddy, and I'm afraid any CD that has not been remastered would suffer the same problem.
One of my favorites!

If you went to college in the early 70's and were trying to get laid, the Moody Blues should have been playing on your dorm room stereo.

Interesting to hear Moody Blues. I hear Moody shades and influences in newer bands such as Flaming Lips and My Morning Jacket.

This one could travel into the future, or the past. Doesn't matter, just as long as it reappears somewhen else. |

I always loved his voice too...and his guitar playing... although he can't hit all the notes he used to, which is understandable......I loved all his songs that were never played on the radio, like Actor, Voices in the Sky, Watching and Waiting, Candle of life, Never Comes the Day.....to name a few...always Justin's songs...... |

The opening notes and intro to this song always grabbed me and led me on a journey as the song continued on. This being the opening cut of what was side two of the album back in the day, it always represents the start of something good to me.

I *like* the garage-band feel, as compared to proggers like Yes, which I tend to find slick and over-produced.

Parents sent me to summer school one year and one of the other misfits played this wax everyday. After a couple of weeks I joined the Moody support group of San Marcos.
