Chris Youlden's vocals were the kind. He made Mr. Simmonds play differently, and it was very cool. So cool.

Saw Foghat headline with Judas Priest opening in about (clears throat and murmers) '77. Priest's stage was completely black, they dropped the curtain between sets and then Foghat appeared on a completely white stage. Like, oh wow dude, am I seeing this? Mostly I remember Foghat's bass player chomped chewing gum through the whole set, very weird. Great, fun show. Halford rules! Good lord am I an old fart.
