Actually, it is the base line that gives me the goose bumps. An all time classic.

Still some of the hottest drumming you can hear. Anyone who didn't spend part of their hi skul years pounding this out on a desktop missed out on of the great joys of the teen years.

The best version of this song I have heard is the live version from the VIVA! album.

You're also correct in that this track never gets old, and I do still stop in my tracks whenever/wherever it comes on. Not many tracks can do that....!

This guy played Woodstock when he was a month over 22 years! He is as good as ever, and he is a rock God. Solid 10!

Ahhh....takes me right back to my senior year in high school. Can you imagine how radical that album cover was in 1970. Classic.

I just saw Sanatana last week in Albany and had high hopes. How could you not like this show? Classic tunes, Lating influences, two bongo drummers, 2 great vocalists.

Guess what. It was one of my most dissapointing shows ever. It was a totally self-indulgent show where they played what they wanted and jammed the night away. While some people loved it I am sure - I didn't. In 2 1/2 hours (yes a long show) they played 3 songs you might know.

Derek Trucks was good as the opener. Although he just jammed also, that was what I expected of him. Loved teh video close up of his playing.
