The Internet™ tells me Voltaire gets credit for that one. Probably apocryphal either way, but also delicious either way.

I have had this song stuck in my head a lot recently - didn't really recall hearing it on RP but probably have.  I think it may have been on "The Princess and the Frog" soundtrack too, maybe another reason why.

Not sure how I feel about it though.... maybe a 6.

A perfect followup for this would be Cake's sizzler "Satan is My Motor", which is in the Cake song list on RP and has a rating of over 8 despite having never been played. Please request it!

And your point? I think we all get that it's a twisted viewpoint, but this is the ZIPPERS!  Kick back with your drink of choice and don't think. {#Sunny}

Don't think so. Named after firecrackers. Just look at the cover.

" 'Nut Zippers' is a southern term for a variety of old bootleg moonshine, and the band's name comes from a newspaper account which related the story of a highly intoxicated man who climbed a tree one night, refusing to come down even after authorities arrived. The article's headline read: "Squirrel Nut Zipper." It is also the name of a candy dating back to 1890."
